Bruce & Norma Rossi

Bruce and Norma, the remarkable founders of the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless, have spent their lives driven by an unwavering passion to make a lasting, positive impact on their community. With a deep sense of compassion and a relentless commitment to social justice, they established the Coalition with the mission of providing support, resources, and hope for the homeless. Over the years, they have worked tirelessly to make real, tangible changes in the lives of those in need, with a particular focus on saving lives and helping individuals overcome their struggles. Their vision was not just to address the immediate needs of the homeless but to create long-lasting, sustainable solutions that empower people to rebuild their lives. Now, at over 100 years old and living in Florida, Bruce and Norma may be far from San Diego, but their connection to the Coalition remains strong. Their incredible passion for community service and their dedication to improving the lives of others continues to inspire everyone involved with the organization. They are nothing short of amazing—living examples of how a single act of kindness, driven by a fierce determination, can ripple through generations and create an enduring legacy of hope and change. Despite the physical distance, their guidance, wisdom, and vision continue to shape the Coalition’s work, ensuring that their mission of compassion, empowerment, and transformation endures.
